Landvetter School

Landvetter School is located in central Landvetter and is a grades 4–9 school with approximately 650 students. The school has good bus connections to Borås and Gothenburg, and you can easily take the Red Express without changing buses. With us, you will meet engaged students and staff with high well-being. At Landvetter School, we value creating a good learning environment for all students, staff, and guardians. To achieve this, we work with PALS. It is a school-wide, evidence-based model that develops and builds a good learning environment through positive actions and participation.

Your assignment

We are now looking for a certified teacher for grades 4–6. You must be qualified in English and Swedish; additional subjects are meritorious. You will be part of a work team where you are an important part of the work for our students.

Requirements for the position

As a person, you are creative and innovative. You work well with other people and can relate to them in a listening and smooth manner. It is important that you are self-reliant and can lead, motivate, and create engagement to increase students' desire and interest in learning, enabling them to demonstrate their knowledge in different ways. You are a leader who is relationship-building, engaged, and accustomed to taking responsibility for students' learning as well as contacting students' guardians. You have good cooperation skills and want to work together with other people. You are secure in your leadership role and want to be part of making a difference for our students.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Interviews will take place continuously during the application period.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also be required depending on the position.
