Distance Croatian Course Leader Needed for Autumn 2026

Folkuniversitetet is currently seeking an engaged course leader in Croatian for distance teaching for the autumn term of 2026. Are you from Croatia and want to inspire others by sharing your language? Or have you lived in Croatia for a longer period and mastered the language and culture like a native? Then you have the competence we are looking for.

At Folkuniversitetet, we offer language courses from all over the world and are constantly working to develop our course offerings.

The Role

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you will have the opportunity to guide and motivate participants in their language development. The role involves leading study circles where the teaching is characterized by a communicative approach to language learning. The courses are aimed at private individuals, corporate clients, as well as the public sector.

The courses are primarily held in the evenings, 1–2 times per week, during the spring and autumn terms (January–May and August–December).

Your Competence and Background

We are looking for you who have good knowledge of Croatian and a genuine interest in promoting the learning and development of others, regardless of background. It is an advantage if you have previous experience teaching adults or leading groups in other ways. Good knowledge of Swedish is a prerequisite for the role.

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to:

• Have the ability to adapt teaching to individuals and bring out each person's potential.
• Share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge.

Employment Type

• Project-based employment.
• The assignment covers 1–3 courses per term.
