Description

The Adult Education department is part of the Competence Centre, where we work together with education, labor market, and integration issues. We educate students in both Swedish for Immigrants and municipal adult education at basic and upper secondary levels.

We also offer vocational and apprenticeship training in collaboration with the Region Västra Götaland, as well as validation within our vocational training programs.

At the Adult Education department, we work closely in teams. This position means that you will primarily belong to the team for upper secondary and basic courses, but you will also collaborate with colleagues from other units. We are looking for you who are inspired by working in a team with others and who want to be involved in shaping the work at the Competence Centre Kungälv.

Responsibilities

As a teacher at the Adult Education department, you share a common responsibility for all our students together with your colleagues. You are accustomed to working together in teams and see the value in joint development work regarding pedagogical issues.

We use Office 365 (SharePoint/Teams) as our learning platform and Edlevo as our student system. We would appreciate it if the applicant has experience with these or similar systems and is very familiar with digital work.

We are looking for a teacher in Natural Science or Biology on a 30% basis. Which of the subjects becomes relevant depends on your competence and subject qualification.

Qualifications

• You have the qualification to teach Natural Science or Biology at the upper secondary level.
• You have experience working with adult education at the upper secondary level.

In this assignment, you will teach upper secondary courses in the subject areas of Natural Science or Biology.

Great importance will be attached to personal qualities.
