Kvarnby School is located in central Mölndal, where approximately 520 students in grades 7–9 attend. For several years, Kvarnby School has achieved very good academic results, reflected in high merit points. The school has close cooperation between students, staff, and the surrounding community, providing current and in-demand education where every student's development is at the center.

We have approximately 50 teachers, and the school has a student health team consisting of a school nurse, school psychologist, school doctor, counselor, and two special education teachers. The school's safety team actively works to counteract bullying. The school has its own study and career counselor who helps our students develop plans for the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher in Chemistry and Biology.

As a teacher with us, your role includes responsibility for planning, implementation, and documentation, as well as mentorship. Your assignment also involves working together with your colleagues to create conditions for students' knowledge development to meet the goals of the curriculum and course plans, as well as working towards a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students. You will have a class together with a mentor colleague.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Chemistry and Biology for lower secondary school. It is desirable that you are also qualified in Mathematics and/or Physics. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with colleagues. You have an inclusive approach to work and the ability to build good relationships. You take initiative, are solution-focused, and driven.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement.
