We are looking for a casual substitute or childcare assistant to support our operations during the absence of regular staff, for example during sick leave.

About the Facility

Ekhagens Preschool is a small parent cooperative in Lerum with approximately 30 children divided into two departments. The operation is characterized by small child groups, high staff density, and close collaboration between educators and guardians. The work is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where children's curiosity and exploration are at the center.

About the Role

As a casual substitute, you will be part of the work team and participate in daily operations based on current needs. You will work together with regular staff and contribute to maintaining structure, security, and continuity in the child group.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Participation in the child group's activities and routines during the day
• Support for children in play, care, and learning
• Collaboration with colleagues to ensure a safe and functional operation

The facility is organized on two floors in the same building, and work may take place in both departments.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an interest in working with children
• Is secure, responsible, and flexible
• Has good teamwork skills and can start working with short notice

Experience working in a preschool or with children is meritorious but not a requirement.
