About the position

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with whatever arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a 28-year-old woman living in Bollebygd. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Category B driver's license (automatic transmission is sufficient) to drive the client's car
• Access to your own car, as public transport to the client's residence is limited
• Tolerance for pets and comfort working in an environment with a dog
• Swimming skills and comfort accompanying the client to the swimming pool
• Non-smoker during working hours

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 60%. Working hours are scheduled for day and night according to a rolling 4-week schedule. Scheduled times usually vary between 10:00–18:00, 11:00–19:00, and 19:00–10:00 (including waiting time 01:00–08:00). You will work one night shift per week, with the remaining shifts scheduled during the day. Work is also required every other weekend.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits according to collective agreement.

Start date by agreement.
