Personal Assistant – Temporary Staff (Female Assistance) – Immediate Start

We are looking for a calm, secure, and grounded female personal assistant of middle age to work as a temporary replacement to cover for regular staff absences. The role involves stepping in as needed, both with short notice and with some advance planning. The work is scheduled in 24-hour shifts, which implies responsibility and presence over longer periods. Currently, there is a shift to cover this coming weekend, meaning employment and induction will take place promptly for the selected candidate. Therefore, it is important that you can start the induction process and submit required documents quickly — specifically, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (belastningsregister) must be submitted on the same day as the job offer to finalize the employment.

The work involves providing individualized support in daily activities with a focus on safety, respect, and preserving the user's integrity. You will work closely with a female user in her 50s; at her own request, only female assistants are considered.

The assignment requires you to take initiative in practical situations, manage your time during 24-hour shifts, and remain sensitive to the user's needs, mood, and potential psychological challenges. Experience as a personal assistant, support worker, or in psychiatry is advantageous as it provides a good foundation for understanding and meeting individual-specific needs.

We value personality highly; your ability to create a sense of security, maintain routines, handle stressful situations, and communicate clearly with both the user and regular staff is crucial. As a temporary staff member, you are also expected to document interventions according to established routines, collaborate during handovers, and handle urgent situations calmly and structured when necessary.

You should be prepared for varied tasks such as personal care, medication management according to instructions, support in social activities, and help with practical chores. Induction and training occur quickly and structured upon employment, and you will receive the necessary information about routines required to ensure continuity in care.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience as a personal assistant or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Experience or education in psychiatry is particularly advantageous.
  • Good ability to document work and follow routines.
  • You must be able to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority on the same day employment is offered.
  • Valid ID required for induction.
  • Language skills: Swedish (spoken and written).
