Job Description
Do you want to work in a creative and meaningful environment?
We are now looking for a support assistant for Majornas Atelier and shop, with a focus on creativity and creation. Here, you will meet participants with various disabilities and work in a supportive and developmental environment where the focus is on the individual's development, independence, and creativity. The operations are also characterized by active work with digital tools and welfare technology as a natural part of everyday life. As a support assistant, you support and guide participants in creative activities such as crafts and creation, both with and without digital aids. You contribute to creating a safe and stimulating environment where participants have the opportunity to express their abilities and develop based on their prerequisites.
The role also involves independently driving creative projects as well as planning and implementing activities in collaboration with colleagues and participants. You document and follow up on participants' development and collaborate with colleagues, relatives, guardians/administrators, and external partners to develop the operations. By using welfare technology and digital tools, such as creation apps, music programs, and drawing tablets, you contribute to an inclusive operation where participation and learning are at the center.
Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, with varying hours between 07:00–17:00. Does this sound like a position that suits you?
We welcome your application!

Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Since communication is an important part of the work, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both orally and in writing. If you do not meet the requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test via Educateit.
You have experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and sign language as support. You are creative and have an interest in creation and creativity.
It is meritorious if you can integrate digital tools and technology into the creative activities to facilitate and stimulate participants' learning and expression. This includes the use of apps for art creation, music programs, or other tools that support creativity and learning. You have the ability to independently drive digital projects.
Experience working with people with disabilities is meritorious.
You have the ability to convey information and ideas, both orally and in writing, and you listen to others to understand their needs. You encourage dialogue and participation.
You are responsible and take responsibility for both your own and joint tasks. You work systematically, complete what you start, and ensure that tasks are performed correctly. You are respectful, receptive, and base your actions on the equal value of all people.
