Who am I?
I am a happy and positive 18-year-old guy in Gothenburg who has personal assistance and am now looking for an assistant to join my wonderful team!

I have autism, which means I sometimes need a little help to get started and get out to fun activities. I manage most things on my own, but I appreciate support with meals, hygiene, and dressing/undressing. I understand everything you say, but I do not speak myself. However, I sign Yes and No, and you will soon learn to recognize my sounds and signals. I am not aggressive.

I have many interests - I like music, swimming, taking the bus, visiting the library, and the Botanical Garden. Riding roller coasters is one of my favorite things! I am also really good at reading maps and bus timetables.

Who are you?
You who are applying like to be active and keep up with the pace! It is good if you have decent physical stamina, as the days can sometimes be fast-paced. Experience working with people with autism is a plus, but not a requirement - the most important thing is that you are calm, secure, and have genuine commitment.

Since there is a dog in the home, you need to enjoy animals and not be allergic.

What does a work shift look like?
On weekdays, you start your shift and meet me in the city center after school finishes. Then we come up with some fun activity in the city. Maybe we take a trip with public transport and try a new bus line, or we go to the Botanical Garden for a coffee. Why not a trip to the library? The shift ends with us going together to the stop Lilla Varholmen where my parents take over. I live on Grötö, so you will mostly be in Gothenburg. However, it is good if you can consider working on Grötö as we will sometimes be there.

About the position
Work on alternating weeks. 3-4 shifts per week + weekend shifts may occur (approx. 10-18 hours). Approximately the same working hours as in Utby but workplace Grötö. You are primarily in Gothenburg but should be willing to travel to Grötö to work as you often end your shift there.
