Who am I?
I am a happy and positive 18-year-old guy who lives every other week in Utby (eastern Gothenburg). I have personal assistance and am now looking for a substitute to join my wonderful team!

I have autism, which means I sometimes need a little help to get started and get out to fun activities. I manage most things on my own, but I appreciate support with meals, hygiene, and dressing/undressing. I understand everything you say, but I do not speak myself. However, I sign Yes and No, and you will soon learn to recognize my sounds and signals.

I have many interests - I like music, swimming, taking the bus, visiting the library, and the Botanical Garden (Trädgårdsföreningen). Riding roller coasters is one of my favorite things! I am also really good at reading maps and bus timetables.

Who are you?
You who are applying enjoy being active and keeping up with the pace! It is good if you have decent physical stamina, as the days can sometimes be fast-paced. Experience working with people with autism is a plus, but not a requirement - the most important thing is that you are calm, secure, and have genuine commitment.

I am not outgoing. Since there is a dog in the home, you need to be comfortable with animals and not be allergic.

What does a work shift look like?
On weekdays, you will meet me in the city when I finish school. We take a taxi home together, eat something good, and do something fun - perhaps an excursion with public transport, a coffee break in the Botanical Garden, or a visit to the library. The day ends at my home in Utby.

About the position

Working hours: Work in alternating weeks. 3-5 shifts per week. Times approx. 15:00-20:00 Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu. Weekend shifts may occur, times then approx. 10:00-18:00. Start in late August.
