Levanda Personal Assistance is a small and personal assistance company with great care for our employees. We are looking for engaged and positive employees who are passionate about working with people.

We are now looking for a full-time personal assistant for an already established assignment in Västra Frölunda.

About the assignment

The assignment involves a middle-aged woman with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair and needs support in many parts of her daily life. As a personal assistant, you will help with personal care, transfers, communication, activities, and daily routines.

The customer communicates using Bliss. Previous experience with Bliss is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are sensitive, curious, and willing to learn to understand the customer's way of communicating. You will receive the necessary introduction and training on site.

Working hours are primarily scheduled for 24-hour shifts between 08:00 and 08:00. On some days, double staffing also occurs, for example in connection with bathing, usually between 11:00 and 16:00.

About you

We are looking for someone who is secure, responsible, and has a warm approach. You need to have patience, be able to notice small signals, and feel comfortable with personal care. It is also important that you can take initiative while respecting the customer's wishes, privacy, and self-determination.

You are suitable for the assignment if you:

• are calm, stable, and sensitive
• are quick to laugh and have a positive attitude
• understand the importance of continuity and routines
• can work independently and take responsibility
• are interested in alternative communication

Experience with personal assistance, cerebral palsy, transfers, or alternative communication is meritorious. Personal suitability and the right attitude are, however, the most important factors.

You will become part of an existing team and receive a thorough introduction to the assignment. The position is full-time and will be filled as soon as possible.
