Åmål Municipality is looking for an engaged study coordinator for the "Aktivt Åmål" project. Here you will have a key role in supporting individuals towards studies and work – while simultaneously contributing to the development and operation of our digital platform.

As a study coordinator, you work with guiding participants towards studies and competence development, while being responsible for a digital platform that facilitates matching, communication, and progression for both individuals and companies.

You will become part of an interdisciplinary team where education, work, and health are connected in a holistic solution.

Your Assignment

In the role of study coordinator, you will have:

Focus on Studies and Individuals

• Provide study and career guidance
• Map educational background, needs, and prerequisites
• Establish and follow up on individual study and development plans
• Act as a link between the project, adult education, high school, and other study providers.
• Support participants in taking steps towards education, studies, or competence-enhancing measures

Digital Responsibility and Support

• Have a coordinating responsibility for the project's IT platform
• Work with the development, use, and quality assurance of the platform
• Provide support and guidance to both participants and companies in the use of the platform
• Contribute to digital tools being used as support in participants' progression towards work/studies

Collaboration and Development

• Collaborate with the labor market unit, social services, healthcare, and external actors
• Contribute to developing working methods that combine studies, work training, and digital solutions

Formal Competency Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in study and career guidance, pedagogy, IT, social work, or equivalent
• Experience working with adults in need of support towards studies or work
• Good knowledge of the education system
• Good digital competence and interest in systems and platforms
• The position requires that you have a B-class driver's license
• Digital identification with BankID

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working with digital tools, platforms, or system support
• Experience with user support or training in digital systems
• Experience with target groups with complex problems

The Employment

The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made. Fixed-term project employment at 100% during the period 2026-11-01 to 2029-06-30.

The study coordinator is currently placed at the Activity and Adult Learning unit within the Welfare and Labor Market Administration, which is organized directly under the Welfare and Labor Market Committee. The nearest manager is the Unit Manager.
