About the position

We are looking for an engaged and certified special needs teacher who wants to help further develop our school.

As a special needs teacher here, you will work closely with the students, guardians, and other professional groups in the team. You will also collaborate closely with the school's current special needs teacher and special educator in planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, adaptations, and support measures.

In this role, you will meet students with varying needs, where experience working with students with autism is an important part of the required competence.

Your responsibilities

As a special needs teacher at our school, you will:

• adapt teaching to the students' needs and prerequisites, based on Conductive Pedagogy
• plan, implement, and follow up on teaching within subject areas
• create individual adaptations and support measures that promote the students' learning and development
• collaborate with guardians and other relevant professional groups
• actively participate in teamwork and contribute to a safe and developmental learning environment
• document the students' development and results
• collaborate with the school's current special needs teacher and special educator regarding teaching, adaptations, support measures, and school development
• be involved in the school's development work

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• certification as a special needs teacher
• experience working with students with varying needs
• experience working with students with autism
• good ability to adapt teaching and create individual solutions
• good communication and collaboration skills
• commitment and willingness to make a difference in students' lives
• interest in learning more about Conductive Pedagogy

Experience working in an adapted school where students study subject areas is considered an advantage.
