Råda School offers activities for students from preschool class up to grade 6.
There are currently 250 students at the school, distributed across seven classes. A large portion of our students attend the after-school center (fritidshem), which consists of three departments.
Approximately 40 people work at Råda School, divided into seven work teams. The educators work according to their qualifications and competence.
During the school year, we work on the development area of entrepreneurial learning/value-creating pedagogy with the aim of increasing student motivation and participation to ultimately improve student goal achievement. Råda School is located in a beautiful natural area with rich opportunities for outdoor pedagogy. The school has abundant access to digital tools to support formative learning processes.

About the job
Råda After-School Center welcomes you if you want to help create an stimulating and safe environment where student development is at the center. Here, learning is a shared journey, and we use our inspiring outdoor environments as a natural part of the operations to promote creativity, movement, and curiosity.
In the role of employee at the after-school center, your main task will be to support and challenge students in their learning together with colleagues in the work team. You will actively work to strengthen each student's knowledge development and social skills, and contribute to creating meaningful activities based on students' needs and interests. The work involves planning, implementing, and continuously evaluating the activities to ensure high quality and that they lead towards the set goals.
In addition to the pedagogical work, you will participate together with your colleagues in the school's overall development work. You will work together on prioritized development areas and contribute to the unit's long-term improvement work. This means you have significant influence in shaping the future of the operations, developing working methods, and creating an even better school for the students.

Who are you?
We are looking for a certified after-school teacher who wants to help develop an operation where student safety, learning, and curiosity are at the center. In this role, your ability to build good and trusting relationships with the students is crucial. You meet every student with respect, attentiveness, and engagement, and you see their individual strengths and needs.
You are well familiar with the mission of the after-school center and have a good understanding of the school's view of knowledge and values. With your competence in digital and formative learning processes, you contribute to creating modern, varied, and meaningful learning environments. You work actively to motivate students and create situations that promote their development – both socially and academically.
In your work, you strive to create an inclusive operation where all students feel seen and included. You use varied working methods and activities that encourage interaction, creativity, and interactivity. By being present and engaged, you build strong relationships not only with the students but also with guardians and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who is curious, brave, and willing to try new ideas together with others. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and actively contribute to the work team's joint development. A probationary period may apply.
We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For this position, the monthly salary is between 36,000 and 40,000 SEK, depending on experience, education, and competence.

Extract from the Police Register
Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record register for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with HVB homes (homes for care or residence), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
