About the Assignment

Medborgarskolan in Mariestad is looking for an experienced and pedagogical instructor to conduct courses on the subject of Chainsaw License AB for private individuals. With a solid interest in chainsaws and safety, your task will be to guide course participants towards new knowledge and passing exams – both theoretical and practical.

ABC certification is mandatory to lead the course, but additional qualifications are naturally a plus. Contacts within the forestry industry are also advantageous, as the instructor is responsible for finding suitable forest areas where the practical part of the training takes place. As an instructor, you also handle the administrative arrangements for the examination and the examiner. You bring your own equipment, such as chainsaws and protective clothing, to all course sessions.

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, pedagogical, and has a burning passion for spreading knowledge in your field. You enjoy meeting new people, sharing your experiences, and have the ability to convey your knowledge, support, motivate, and inspire others. As a person, you are empathetic, strive for high quality, and aim for satisfied course participants. The instruction is conducted in Swedish.
