We work inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy, based on a view of children as competent, with multilingualism and the children's curiosity and interests at the center. Our intercultural approach permeates the operations. We value and highlight the breadth of experiences and languages found among both the children and their families as well as in the staff group – something that also characterizes our language-enhancing work. Through a translingual approach, both Swedish and the children's other languages are given space. We have ongoing development work regarding language-enhancing methods with the help of the development initiative SOKA (language and knowledge-developing methods).

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified early childhood teacher with the ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a confident leader and a good role model for both children and adults, with the ability to create a positive and developmental environment where children can develop at their own pace. You have experience/knowledge of a Reggio Emilia-inspired working method as well as experience/knowledge of an intercultural approach.

You can plan, implement, document, and analyze the operations according to the preschool curriculum and other regulatory documents. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are comfortable using digital tools in your work.

Merits:

Experience with language-developing methods with multilingualism/translingualism as a part.
