Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola in Borås was established in 2010 and is located in Spinneriet in completely newly renovated premises. The school offers vocational and university-preparatory education within the social sciences program, economics program, healthcare and social care program, as well as the hairdressing and styling program with the following specializations: economics, law, behavioral science, health and care, emergency care, hairdressing, and styling. The school has approximately 250 students and 30 employees. We are now looking for a hairdressing teacher for our operations in Borås.

Your Role

We now need reinforcement for our teaching team in the Hairdressing and Styling program in our modern premises in Spinneriet. We are offering a position of 70–100% for teaching in various hairdressing subjects on the hairdressing program in a fantastic, realistic learning environment. This is a perfect opportunity for you who want to advance your career but still want to keep a foot in the professional life as a hairdresser.

Your Profile

Primarily, we are looking for you who are trained as a vocational teacher, or alternatively have substantial experience in the hairdressing industry. We would like you to be passionate about entrepreneurship, outgoing, and social, with a broad network in Borås and the surrounding area. We also appreciate that you enjoy working on various projects, are proactive, solution-oriented, and innovative. As a hairdressing teacher, it is important that you are up-to-date regarding new cutting, coloring, and treatment techniques. Men's haircut techniques such as beards and fades are meritorious.

We are looking for you with a strong personal commitment to students, the industry, and learning. As a teacher, you are receptive and wish to guide students into the future. You are also a structured, inspiring leader in the classroom while seeing the student, creating a "we", valuing, and building good relationships.
