Description

Do you want to make a real difference in the development of children and students? Sotenäs Municipality is now looking for an engaged and competent special needs educator (specialpedagog) in the Central Student Health Service who wants to contribute to an inclusive and developmental learning environment.

About the Role

As a special needs educator in the Central Student Health Service in Sotenäs Municipality, you work broadly across the municipality's primary schools. You collaborate closely with school leadership, teachers, and other members of the student health team to create the best possible conditions for all students' learning and development. You play a central role in identifying needs, analyzing learning environments, and advancing special educational work.

The position also involves working with the adapted primary school, with a particular focus on receiving and introducing new students.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting pedagogical investigations and assessments
• Mentoring and supporting teachers in preventive and promoting work
• Contributing to the development of inclusive learning environments
• Collaborating with other professions within the student health service
• Participating in organizational-level school development work
