Raoul Wallenberg School Skövde has expanded from 80 students to just over 900, covering preschool class to grade 9. Just over 500 of these students are in the lower secondary school (grades 7-9). The school operates under the motto "making a positive difference," and our ambition is to be the most attractive primary school in Skövde. We have a clear value base centered around our keywords, with order and discipline in focus. We place great emphasis on creating a common approach to teaching and other activities. Interest in our school concept is very high, and therefore our ambition is to build and establish several new schools in both Skövde and Skaraborg in the coming years.

Who are you?

We are looking for a primary school teacher with qualifications to teach primarily Swedish at the lower secondary level. Qualifications to teach Swedish combined with another subject are meritorious. We are looking for skilled, driven, and engaged teachers who, like us, are passionate about making a positive difference for different types of students – both those in need of special support and those who need greater challenges. We are looking for you who share our values and our passion for children and education. Within RWS schools, we work according to common lesson routines that create opportunities for peace, security, and curiosity. As a primary school teacher at RWS Skövde, you work in teams and plan and work together with other class teachers and subject teachers for the student's learning throughout the day.

With good didactic skills, strong subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You see yourself as an important part of the work to create good conditions for students' learning. You have good leadership that conveys a clear lesson structure, security, clear expectations, and relationship-building. You are well-versed in digital tools. You see collaboration as a given way to develop and become even better. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, the students have access to Chromebooks, and we work actively with our learning platform – Canvas.

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period.
