As a substitute teacher, you can work in preschools, primary school grades F-6, secondary school grades 7-9, adapted primary school, and leisure centers. We offer our substitutes one to two workplaces where you get the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging with the work team, individual introduction based on previous experience and education, and close contact with the principal and administrator. We also offer flexible working hours. If you can work in several units and at different geographical locations, our opportunities to offer you more shifts increase.

We are now looking for more substitutes for Team North, which consists of preschools and schools in Sollebrunn, Magra, Stora Mellby, and Gräfsnäs. As a substitute, you work either in preschool or in primary school (grade F-6 or grade 7-9) and leisure centers.

Job Responsibilities

Preschool

In the preschool, you work as a substitute together with regular pedagogues in the operations, where the preschool teacher leads the pedagogical work in collaboration with other staff. Through care and pedagogical activities based on play and creativity, you work to promote children's development and learning. The preschool's task is to create an environment that supports, challenges, and attracts, thereby laying a foundation for learning for all children. To succeed, you need to be a good and secure role model who actively supports and guides the children during their stay.

Primary School and Leisure Centers

As a substitute in primary school, you support our regular teachers during their absence, teach in various subjects, and contribute to a safe and inspiring learning environment. It is important that you find it motivating to teach and that you can engage students in a pedagogical way. After the school day ends, you can also work at the leisure center where you, together with your colleagues, carry out activities with the students to create a meaningful leisure time after school hours.

Regardless of which operation you want to work in, your task is to be a good role model, support, and guide the children/students during their days.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be available with short notice as bookings can occur as late as 45 minutes before a shift starts
• Live in the local area, with the ability to get to the workplace quickly and smoothly
• Have the opportunity to work at least a couple of shifts per week to contribute to continuity for children, students, and staff
• Have a good command of the Swedish language, both in speech, understanding, and writing

Meritorious

• Education or experience within school or preschool
• Experience of leadership, for example through association life or similar.

We are looking for you who have pedagogical skills and a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You have a good approach, are sensitive to others' needs, and meet every individual with respect. You have an easy time building good relationships and take responsibility for your task as a substitute.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment / Intermittent employment / Hourly employment as needed.
Duration: 3-6 months.
Start date: Start date occurs continuously after agreement.
