Responsibilities

We are looking for a preschool/school-age educator (pedagog i fritidshem) or teacher (lärare i fritidshem) who wants to be an important part of the students' entire school day. During school hours, you will work as a resource in the classroom, supporting students' learning, development, and sense of security. In the afternoons, you work in the after-school center's activities, where you, together with colleagues, plan, implement, and develop activities based on the after-school center's mission and the students' needs and interests.

The position also includes collaborating with work teams, guardians, and other staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for school-age education (lärare i fritidshem) or have other pedagogical education that the employer considers relevant for the assignment. You have experience working in after-school centers and are well-versed in the after-school center's mission, curriculum, and working methods. Education in low-affective handling, NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), or other relevant competence for working with students in need of support is meritorious.

You should have experience planning and leading instruction in after-school centers according to the curriculum's goals.

You are a confident and engaged educator who easily creates good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and can adapt your working methods based on the students' needs. Experience working as a resource in the classroom and with students in need of special support is meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
