About the Job

As a Special Education Teacher in Mathematics at Dalabergsskolan, you will play a crucial role in our students' learning and development. You will be responsible for creating an inspiring and supportive environment where students in grades 1–6 can grow in their mathematical thinking and knowledge. We are looking for someone with a passion for mathematics and the ability to adapt teaching to each student's unique needs.

Responsibilities

As a Special Education Teacher in Mathematics for grades 1–6 at Dalabergsskolan, you will have a key role in supporting and developing students' mathematical skills. You will work closely with both students and colleagues to create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment where everyone can grow and thrive. Your work will involve:

• Working with special support and extra adjustments for students in mathematics.
• Observations, guidance, and support in teaching.
• Close collaboration with the special needs educator and the Student Health Team.
• Working with assessments and action plans together with the special needs educator. You support teachers in their assessment work when needed.
• Contributing to the school's positive work climate and actively participating in the school's development work.

You will be part of the school's Student Health Team. The team consists of the principal, deputy principal, counselor, school nurse, special needs educator, and special education teacher, all of whom have their full or majority positions at Dalabergsskolan.
