Together, we create a culture where participation, security, and high expectations are at the center. Through collaboration, language, and presence, we lay the foundation for goal achievement and lifelong learning.

About the School

Ulrikaskolan is a well-regarded school for grades F-6, centrally located in Ulricehamn, right next to Lassalyckan and beautiful forest areas. From our school, both students and staff have close access to greenery, outdoor activities, and sports facilities – something that permeates our pedagogy and values. The school currently has approximately 370 students from preschool class to grade 6. We offer after-school care activities and have four departments distributed according to age mix, two for grades F-1 and two for grades 2-6. Our student health team consists of a special educational needs coordinator, special needs teacher, school nurse, and counselor, and we hold regular collaboration meetings to ensure comprehensive support for our students.

Starting the autumn term of 2027, we will inaugurate the new F-6 school, Björkås. In connection with this, Ulrikaskolan will be converted into a grades 7-9 school. Ulrikaskolan, which will be the origin of Björkås organization and way of working, is characterized by high staff qualifications and good goal achievement. Four lead teachers drive the systematic quality work and ensure continuous development of teaching. In our flexible unit, educators work in close collaboration with class teachers and the student health team to form flexible and adaptable learning environments. This allows us to truly meet every student based on their individual prerequisites and needs. Ulrikaskolan is also home to adapted compulsory school, with its own principal and student health team.
