Båtsmansskolan is a primary school with approximately 190 students in grades 7-9, as well as a municipal special needs unit (SU). At the school, there is a strong "we-feeling" where all adults are equally important for the students to succeed. The school focuses heavily on participation and finding success factors for student learning. It is a school with motivated students, and we work with a strong focus on relationships. The school works partly cross-curricularly and with several thematic directions each academic year.

Your assignment

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building resource pedagogue who wants to make a difference for a blind student in the lower secondary school.

You have a genuine interest in building safe relationships and creating good conditions for learning. You are curious about technology and see possibilities in using digital aids to meet the student's needs and strengthen the student's independence.

We are looking for you who are flexible, responsive, and have a solution-focused approach to work. Together with the school's staff, you contribute to an accessible, inclusive, and developmental school environment. Pedagogical education is meritorious.

You will work together with colleagues in a working team.

The teachers work in three working teams annually, where you belong with the teachers in grade 9. To create security and collaboration, the classes consist of approximately 20 students. In the working team, we work closely together and close to the students.

Requirements for the position

You are an educated pedagogue.

• Interested in finding solutions for all conditions.
• Have good ability to collaborate.
• Are flexible and can inspire and engage students.
• Are mission-aware and work goal-oriented.
• Use digital tools as a natural part of the pedagogical work.

It is meritorious if you have experience working as a teacher or resource pedagogue. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also become relevant depending on the position.
