For the autumn term of 2026, we need to replenish our team working with our introductory programs. We work with students who, for various reasons, lack grades needed to proceed to further studies and work. At our school, the individual student is always at the center; we work flexibly, and all education is adapted to the individual's needs.

In the role of special needs teacher, you will primarily be responsible for teaching in small groups, although individual teaching may also occur. For some students, a smaller setting during a period may be crucial for development and security.

Through close collaboration with colleagues in the team, you will work to challenge students in their learning and support them in their knowledge development towards set goals. In addition to planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching, you will, together with colleagues in the team, work on developing teaching based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement work. You will work closely with teachers, the EHT team, and the principal to increase goal achievement and the desire to learn.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for a qualified special needs teacher, preferably with a focus on introductory programs (IF) and/or qualification to teach in the later years of compulsory school. You have experience in teaching and work with the student's development and learning as the focus.

We would appreciate it if you had experience working on introductory programs, particularly with students in need of special support, as well as knowledge of inclusive learning environments. Experience in special pedagogical work and knowledge of various functional variations are meritorious. As a person, you enjoy collaborating with others and developing together with students and colleagues in this way.

You are confident in your teaching role, flexible, and solution-focused, with the ability to adapt teaching to the students' needs. You thrive working closely with students in small groups where relationships, structure, and trust are important parts of learning.

As a person, you are communicative, creative, and open to thinking new thoughts and trying new working methods together with others.

The position may potentially be filled internally if an excess of competence is identified within the organization, in which case this recruitment will be terminated.
