Göta Trängregemente T 2 is in an exciting growth phase and is now looking for a civilian vehicle service instructor for the Motor School, Logistics School in Skövde.

About the Logistics School and Motor School

The Logistics School trains employees and future officers in logistics and vehicle service for all branches and forces of the Swedish Armed Forces. Approximately 100 military and civilian staff work at the Logistics School.

The Motor School is responsible for training instructors in vehicle service within the Swedish Armed Forces. The division's area of responsibility in the Swedish Armed Forces covers vehicle types such as wheeled vehicles and special vehicles, for example, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles, armored all-terrain vehicles, and tracked vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

As a vehicle service instructor, you play a central role in developing, planning, and conducting training within your field. Among other things, you will:

  • Lead and conduct vehicle service courses as an instructor.
  • Support trainers at Swedish Armed Forces units with specialist competence in vehicle service.
  • Contribute to the development of training methods and course content related to vehicle service.
  • Drive development and concept projects within the Motor School's area of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Trained vocational teacher in vehicle service, heavy vehicle traffic teacher, military vehicle instructor, or special vehicle instructor.
  • Category C driving license.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Current experience working with the Office package and digital tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous work as a vocational teacher in vehicle service or heavy vehicle traffic teacher.
  • Military heavy vehicle driving permit.
  • Military vehicle instructor or special vehicle instructor.
  • Experience in driving projects.

The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the agency.
