Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include developing the operations for our students as part of the work team. We see that you have a solid background in the pedagogy and learning mission of the adapted primary school. With this competence, you play a key role in the school's development.

You conduct pedagogical mapping, observe at both individual and group levels, and work on developing and supporting students' learning in all situations during the school day. You serve as a mentor for a group of students and work closely with teaching assistants in the classroom.

The work team at the adapted primary school collaborates closely with student health services, which is an important part of our work. Together, we contribute to developing quality throughout the organization and carry out joint work based on mapped and analyzed needs.

We also work together to develop the after-school activities at the adapted primary school. Our mission includes health-promoting and security-building value-based work.

Qualifications

As a Special Education Teacher, you face various challenges daily. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working with complex issues, analyzing, breaking down problems, and proposing solutions. You have good ability to articulate yourself in speech and writing, as well as in documentation.

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher and hold a Master's degree in Special Education with a specialization in intellectual disability. You have experience working with students both individually and in groups. We prefer that you have a background as a teacher for younger age groups, with a focus on literacy and mathematics instruction. You are well-versed in the school's work and its governing documents, and you stay updated within the field of special education.

We see that you have good empathetic skills and can put yourself in others' situations without taking over their feelings. You are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations and can maintain a realistic perspective where you focus on the right things.

You find it easy to collaborate and build relationships with children, young people, colleagues, and parents. You listen and communicate clearly, enjoy taking initiative for activities, and strive to achieve results and develop the organization.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. We place great emphasis on personal suitability when appointing the position. Start date is by agreement.

A valid extract from the criminal record must be presented, via digital mailbox via email or to the responsible recruiter at a meeting in the final stage (the extract must be issued within 1 year).
