Description

Skaftö School is a rural school located on the beautiful island of Skaftö, belonging to Lysekil Municipality. At Skaftö School, we cover grades F–6 (preschool to grade 6) and have approximately 50 students. Since the school is small, we work extensively with age-integrated learning to foster a sense of community among children and staff.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher for our lower primary section (grades F–3). A small part of the position will involve work in the after-school center. We collaborate closely across age groups and within all school activities.

We are seeking a primary school teacher with qualifications for grades F–3, or other pedagogical education that we assess as equivalent. It is important to us that you can work both independently and in collaboration with other colleagues at the school. We are looking for someone with strong planning and organizational skills who works well in a team, while also being flexible and adaptable to daily conditions.

We seek you who have a clear pedagogical approach and a holistic view of students to stimulate their social development and learning. The school is guided by the belief that all students are capable of development and that a good environment stimulates this. All students should be able to develop as much as possible based on their own prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher. You have the ability to develop good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are confident in your leadership, focusing on students' safety, well-being, and study environment. You teach with clear purpose and goals and have good variation in your teaching. You prioritize collaboration but also find it easy to work independently. You thrive in a developmental and flexible workplace.
