We are now looking for more casual staff for Team South, which consists of preschools and schools in Västra Bodarna, Ingared, Hemsjö, and Ödenäs. As a casual employee, you will work either in preschool or in primary school (grades F-6) and after-school care.

We offer our casual staff one to two workplaces where you get the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging to the team, individual induction based on previous experience and education, and close contact with the principal and administrator. We also offer flexible working hours. If you can work in several units and at different geographical locations, our opportunities to offer you more shifts increase.

Job Responsibilities

Preschool

In the preschool, you work as a casual staff member together with permanent educators in the operations, where the preschool teacher leads the pedagogical work in collaboration with other staff. Through care and pedagogical activities based on play and creativity, you work to promote children's development and learning. The preschool's task is to create an environment that supports, challenges, and attracts, thereby laying a foundation for learning for all children. To succeed, you need to be a good and secure role model who actively supports and guides the children during their stay.

Primary School (F-6) and After-School Care

As a casual staff member in the primary school, you support our permanent teachers during their absence, teach in various subjects, and contribute to a safe and inspiring learning environment. It is important that you find it motivating to teach and that you can engage students in a pedagogical way. After the school day ends, you can also work at the after-school care center where you, together with your colleagues, carry out activities with students to create a meaningful free time after school hours.

Regardless of which activity you want to work in, you are tasked with being a good role model, supporting, and guiding children/students during their days.

You enter the times and days you can work in our booking system yourself and receive bookings via SMS thereafter.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years or older.
• You are available with short notice, as bookings can occur as late as 45 minutes before a shift starts.
• You live in Alingsås Municipality or in the surrounding area, with the ability to get to the workplace quickly and easily.
• You have the opportunity to work at least a couple of shifts per week to contribute to continuity for children, students, and staff.
• You have a good command of the Swedish language, both in speech, comprehension, and writing.

Merits

• Education or experience within school or preschool.
• Experience in leadership, for example through club life or similar.

We are looking for you who have pedagogical skills and a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You have a good manner, are sensitive to others' needs, and meet every individual with respect. You have an easy time building good relationships and take responsibility for your assignment as a casual employee. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment / Casual employment / Hourly employment as needed.
Duration: 3–6 months.
