Description

Torslandaskolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 400 students. The school is newly built and located in central Torslanda. Despite its central location, we are close to forests and nature. We are now looking for two teachers for our after-school centers (fritidshem) for the younger age groups.

As we expand the school with more students, we need to hire more teachers for the after-school centers. In our after-school center, you will develop and conduct pedagogical work with children in the younger age groups.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in our after-school center, you will work on developing and conducting pedagogical activities together with the work team, which consists of both primary school teachers and after-school center teachers. You believe it is important to create conditions for all children so they can develop well in an stimulating environment where play and curiosity are in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified after-school center teacher. You have experience from pedagogical work with children where you have independently and in groups planned, implemented, and evaluated the work.

You are accustomed to collaborating with different teachers/work teams and you are good at communicating with parents. You fully share the values reflected in the curriculum. The children's learning is in focus for you, and you are used to working in a goal-oriented manner. You are passionate about giving children a meaningful leisure time and base your planning on their needs and interests.

Creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is a matter of course for you. You understand the importance of children's play and movement for learning. You are flexible and have an easy time taking initiative. Other important skills of yours include the ability to create a good work climate, to have a low-affective approach, and to appreciate working with people.
