Teacher for Grades 4–6 at Fågelås School

Fågelås School is looking for an engaged and certified teacher for instruction in grades 4–6.

Fågelås is a rural school located in Gate, approximately 16 kilometers outside central Hjo. Here, you will work in a pleasant, nature-rich environment at a smaller K–6 school where the close proximity between students and staff creates good conditions for security, participation, and learning. At our school, everyone knows each other, which allows for close collaboration, flexibility, and a shared responsibility for the students' development.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 4–6, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up on, and developing teaching based on the curriculum (Lgr22) and the school's governing documents.

The position includes, among other things:

• teaching students in grades 4–6
• serving as a mentor and being responsible for contact with guardians
• conducting development conferences and documenting students' knowledge development
• adapting teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites
• contributing to the school's development work and collaborating with colleagues, student health services, and guardians
• creating teaching characterized by clear expectations, peace and quiet, participation, and a desire to learn

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has a teaching license and a degree for teaching in grades 4–6 of compulsory school
• has good knowledge of the school's mission, the curriculum (Lgr22), and other governing documents
• has very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• has a genuine commitment to students' learning, development, and well-being
• is pedagogical, team-oriented, and flexible in your working methods
• has the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• can adapt teaching so that all students are given the opportunity to succeed
