Responsibilities

Are you our new vocational teacher who is passionate about training the next generation of Bakers and Confectioners?

As a teacher, you work under responsible freedom together in a team with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and development. Based on a student focus, there is an opportunity for balance between planning work and teaching with support and trust from a competent and supportive leadership.

We are now looking for a teacher for Studium's vocational adult education package Baker/Confectioner with a focus on Confectionery. Here we teach at the upper secondary level with a language- and knowledge-developing approach. Students receive a basic education that concludes with a vocational test.

In addition to teaching, you will, together with the teaching team, responsible education manager, and principal, be responsible for organizing, planning, and coordinating your courses in the different groups, as well as conducting APL (Workplace-based Learning) and LIA (Workplace-based Learning for Upper Secondary School) visits.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position, the following are required:

• Good professional experience in the profession of Baker and Confectioner.
• Subject competence and teacher certification in the subjects:
  • Bakery and Confectionery Knowledge
  • Service and Customer Interaction
  • Meal and Industry Knowledge

You are also welcome to apply if you are interested in starting training to become a vocational teacher and have the required professional experience.

• Good IT skills and experience with digital aids.
• Good pedagogical and didactic ability.
• Good ability to organize and document.
• Journeyman and Master certificates are both meritorious.

As a person, you have a pedagogical aptitude and the ability to motivate and inspire the people you meet. You are passionate about working closely with students in their development and have an inclusive approach to work. A project- and solution-oriented way of working is a natural way for you to work. Experience in adult education and multicultural work is meritorious. We also conduct many validations, and experience and good knowledge of validation are seen as meritorious.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability, teamwork skills, creativity, and flexibility.
