Our newly built Lärjeskolan is centrally located in Hjällbo, making it easy to reach by both public transport and car. It takes approximately 10 minutes by tram from the Central Station. Lärjeskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) that also offers classes for adapted primary education (grades 7-9) in various subjects and subject areas. The school has capacity for 700 students. We have two parallel classes in grades F-6 and four parallel classes in grades 7-9. The school leadership consists of a principal and three deputy principals with specific areas of responsibility. The principal leads and distributes the work within the student health team.

We are a multicultural school that has seen an increase in student numbers, and we are now looking for a class teacher for grades F-6. We are looking for you who want to become our new colleague and drive school development forward together with us.

We are now looking for a teacher for grade 5 at Lärjeskolan! The position is a fixed-term appointment for the academic year 2026/2027.

Responsibilities

In addition to the usual duties of a class teacher, you will also have homeroom teacher responsibilities for your class. You will teach all theoretical subjects. As a teacher with us, you are part of a work team and collaborate with teaching colleagues to plan and develop teaching. Lärjeskolan is a school that values both traditions and innovative thinking to develop student learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is flexible, empathetic, calm, and clear, and who has the ability to build good relationships with students and staff. You also have experience working with low-affective responses. You are a certified primary school teacher and qualified to teach mathematics, Swedish, English, Social Studies (So), Natural Sciences (No), and Technology. Broader qualifications within grades F-6 are meritorious.

You are skilled at working differentially in your teaching. You see differences as an asset, and it is natural that you have the ability to make adjustments based on your student group. You are a skilled communicator in both speech and writing and feel comfortable engaging in all types of conversations and meetings.
