Welcome to Fågelvikskolan!

We are looking for you who want to help shape the education and teaching for our students together with colleagues in the student health team, safety team, and work groups.

We offer a newly renovated school environment and a dedicated group of colleagues where we together focus on how we can best work in a promoting and preventive manner to ensure our students complete their education.

Fågelvikskolan is a newly renovated upper secondary school (grades 7–9) with approximately 350 students.

Tibro Municipality, with 11,000 inhabitants, is located in the northern part of Västra Götaland County. Here you will find a broad business life with unique competence in furniture, interior design, and logistics, as well as a rich association life with many outstanding athletes. Responsibilities

As a music teacher at Fågelvikskolan, you will be part of a work group team that works with the student's needs at the center, as well as part of a subject team together with a certified music teacher.

The role of primary and lower secondary school teacher includes planning and conducting teaching as well as assessing students' knowledge. The role also involves evaluating and developing pedagogical work based on the school's steering documents as well as the students' needs and interests.

As a teacher, you are expected to conduct creative and language-developing teaching and find strategies to maximize students' knowledge development. In this way, inclusive teaching is a natural part of your daily work.

The role includes contributing to collegial learning, the purpose of which is to promote the school's development work.

Mentorship is included in the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a primary and lower secondary school teacher with certification in music, preferably in combination with another subject. You who have similar knowledge and experience assessed as equivalent are also welcome to apply for the position.

You have good pedagogical and didactic skills and can organize and lead classroom work with clarity and commitment for the best possible development of all students.

We are looking for you who work in a differentiated manner and see additional adjustments as a natural part of daily classroom work.

It is of great importance that you have a good ability to create good and sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians in order to contribute to increased knowledge development and goal achievement.

You have a collaborative approach and enjoy working with other colleagues in work and subject groups. Together we drive school development forward, learn from each other, and collaborate so that all students achieve the best possible knowledge results!

You should be well acquainted with the school's steering documents and preferably have experience working with digital tools that promote students' knowledge development.

Employment Terms

  • Salary form: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent employment.
  • Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement.

  • The salary setting is based on a combined assessment of the requirements and responsibilities of the role, educational background, relevant experience, personal suitability, as well as the current salary level for corresponding or equivalent positions and prevailing market conditions. Questions regarding salary level and salary formation for the position will be answered during the interview.
