Marklandsparken Preschool is an intercultural meeting place where languages from all corners of the world coexist in a enriching diversity. Here, we start from the premise that everyone is of equal value and work to give our children opportunities that provide them with a good start in life. Our pedagogical approach is based on the motto: I want - I get - I dare - I can.

Our activity is inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogy, and we actively participate in the Erasmus project "100 Languages - 100 Environments." This means that we see children as competent with a hundred different ways to express themselves and learn. We follow the children's interests and let them explore the world through many different forms of expression - from creating in our large atelier to storytelling in our shared libraries.

The preschool is built on two floors with thoughtfully designed environments for different ages. The younger children have their home base on the first floor, while the older children are on the second floor. The older children eat in our restaurant, Jalla Jalla. Our home bases work closely together in five teams, which provides collegial support and a strong sense of community.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop teaching and create the best possible conditions for children's development and learning. We work systematically with collegial experience exchange, which strengthens our professional approach and drives quality development forward.

As a preschool teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical activity based on the curriculum and our Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy, and you contribute your scientific theories regarding children's development and learning. Together with your colleagues, you create meaningful projects that stem from the children's interests and curiosity.

With us, you receive professional support from our development pedagogues, activity developers, and special educators who participate in the development processes. Together, we create the conditions for every child to develop and learn based on their unique abilities and interests.

We are looking for you with a preschool teacher certification who is engaged, motivated, and wants to make a difference for our youngest citizens. You have good knowledge of Swedish in terms of speech and writing. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working in a preschool.

You are confident in the preschool teacher role and have a good ability to translate the curriculum into practice. You have developed good strategies for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching and painting activities. We value a solution-focused approach where you see opportunities in what is available and find creative ways forward with a positive outlook. To succeed in the role, we also see that you have good collaboration skills and an analytical approach. Your analytical ability becomes an important tool in working with the children.

Within the Preschool Administration, we offer free pedagogical lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher, you also have an average of five hours of planning time per week.
