About the Position

Stavreskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in the eastern part of Trollhättan. The school has approximately 450 students and is divided into two units: grades F-3 and grades 4–9. We are now looking for a qualified teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MA/NO) who primarily has the competence to teach grades 4–6.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who focuses on the students' knowledge development and employs cross-disciplinary thinking in their teaching. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics/Natural Sciences in grade 6. The position includes mentorship and other duties inherent to the teaching profession.

You are responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up. You take responsibility for working systematically with additional adaptations and design your teaching based on the needs of the student group. You continuously evaluate and adjust your teaching based on the students' progress. In your work, you utilize the various professions within the organization and collaborate for the benefit of the students.

The employment requires the ability to work closely with your colleagues for the grade level and to work together to increase goal fulfillment and security.

Initially, the position is for the incoming grade 6, and you will belong to the working group for grades 4-6. Since both the middle school and upper secondary levels belong to the same organization, you are expected to work across grades 4-9 when needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. As a person, you are driven, flexible, and solution-focused. You are calm and confident in yourself and enjoy creating a good collaborative climate with colleagues, students, and guardians. You understand and respect the importance of good relationships with students and are responsible for creating teaching that engages and contributes to the students' desire to learn.
