Are you from France and want to inspire others by sharing the French language, or have you lived in France for a longer period and speak the language and understand the culture like a native?

Folkuniversitetet offers language courses from all over the world, and we are constantly working to develop our course offerings. For the autumn of 2026, we are now looking for an engaged course leader in French for our courses in Trollhättan.

The Assignment

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you will have the opportunity to guide and motivate participants in their language development. The assignment involves leading study circles where the teaching is characterized by a communicative approach to language learning and targets both private individuals, corporate clients, and the public sector. The courses are held primarily in the evenings, 1–2 times per week, during the spring and autumn semesters (January–May and August–December).

Your Qualifications and Background

We are looking for you who have good knowledge of French and an interest in promoting other people's learning and development, regardless of background. Previous experience in teaching adults or leading groups in other ways is meritorious. Good knowledge of Swedish is also a prerequisite for the assignment.

We prefer that you reside in Trollhättan or the surrounding area.

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to:

• Have the ability to adapt teaching to the individual and bring out each person's potential.
• Share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge.

Employment Type

• Project-based employment.
• The assignment covers 1–3 courses per semester.
