For the autumn of 2026, we are looking for a distance course leader in German. Are you from Germany and want to inspire others by sharing your knowledge of German, or perhaps you have lived in Germany for a long time and speak the language and understand the culture like a native? If so, you have the competence we are looking for. Folkuniversitetet offers language courses from all over the world, and we are constantly working to develop our course offerings.

The Assignment

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you will have the opportunity to guide and motivate participants in their language development. The assignment involves leading study circles where the teaching is characterized by a communicative approach to language and is aimed at both private individuals and corporate clients as well as the public sector. The courses are mainly held in the evenings, 1–2 times per week, during the spring and autumn semesters (January–May and August–December).

Your Competence and Background

We are looking for you who have good knowledge of German and an interest in promoting other people's learning and development, regardless of background. It is an advantage if you have previous experience teaching adults or leading groups in other ways. Good knowledge of Swedish is also a prerequisite for the assignment.

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to:

• Have the ability to tailor teaching to the individual and bring out each person's potential.
• Share our view on the equal value of people and their right to knowledge.

Employment Type

• Project-based employment.
• The assignment covers 1–3 courses per semester.
