We are looking for an Accountant for an exciting growing company. This is a long-term position where you start as a consultant via SJR with the ambition to eventually be hired directly by our client.

Here you are offered a broad and developmental role where you will help shape the company's finance function. Responsibilities and tasks will gradually be transferred from the external accounting firm to be built up internally. Therefore, there is an opportunity for both those who wish to grow into greater responsibility over time, and for those who already have the experience and competence to take a leading role in the accounting work.

About the role

As an Accountant, you will work closely with the company's CFO and become an important part of the development of the finance function. Together, you will create structure, develop processes, and ensure efficient working methods. The role is broad and business-oriented, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Management of customer and supplier ledgers
• Payments and reconciliations
• Continuous bookkeeping
• Year-end closing
• Support in reporting to the group
• Management of intercompany balances
• Compilation, quality assurance, and updating of financial data and databases

In addition to the ongoing finance-related tasks, you will provide administrative support to the business and help out where needed. The role is characterized by variety and requires a non-hierarchical attitude and a willingness to contribute to the whole.

In the long run, there are good opportunities to take on greater responsibility in areas such as budgeting and forecasting, liquidity planning, controlling, and reporting.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working within finance and a good understanding of accounting flows and financial processes. You are accustomed to working in different systems, have very good knowledge of Excel, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

To thrive in this role, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to different situations. You enjoy an entrepreneurial environment while having the ability to meet high demands for quality and structure in reporting.
