About the Job

As a Claims Manager at DFDS, you will hold a key role within our Logistics Division in Sweden. You will be responsible for leading and developing the handling of damage and claims cases, with a focus on structure, quality, cost control, and commercial viability.

The role combines operational responsibility with development and improvement work. This means you will handle claims and damage cases yourself while simultaneously working on developing processes, improving follow-ups, and creating an efficient and sustainable claims management system for the business.

You will have many contact points and collaborate closely with operations, finance, contract managers, suppliers, carriers, and insurance partners. In the long term, there is also an opportunity to further develop the function and lead a small team.*

Examples of areas of responsibility:

• Responsible for and developing DFDS handling of claims and damage cases
• Handle and follow up on transport and cargo damage
• Ensure cost-effective and commercially sound damage management
• Develop processes, working methods, analysis, and reporting
• Drive damage prevention work and risk management
• Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and insurance partners

About You:
