Your Role

As a Quality Engineer in Corporate Procurement, you play a key role in developing and strengthening how one of Sweden's largest contracting authorities works with quality, supplier development, sustainability, auditing, as well as preparedness and business continuity management. You contribute to ensuring that public business maintains high quality, that suppliers develop, and that socially important deliveries function – today and in the future.

You work at the interface between quality, analysis, and business development. With a strategic and long-term perspective, you develop working methods that strengthen supplier performance, identify risks, and turn analyses into concrete improvements. The work is carried out in close collaboration with procurement officers, contract managers, business units, suppliers, as well as other regions and organizations.

You are part of the Procurement Strategy and Development unit, where you, together with engaged colleagues, drive the development of future procurement and follow-up work. Depending on your competence and interest, other development assignments may also become relevant.

In the role, you will among other things:

• develop and further develop working methods, methods, and models for supplier follow-up and supplier development
• plan, conduct, and follow up on supplier follow-ups and supplier audits
• conduct audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and contribute to work with ISO 22301 and ISO 27001
• analyze and follow up on supplier performance, identify risks and areas for improvement, and drive development towards sustainable improvements
• develop key figures, follow-up models, and decision support that strengthen management and follow-up
• develop new follow-up areas and ensure that experiences from follow-up are utilized in future tenders
• support procurement officers in evaluating suppliers' quality, environmental, continuity, and information security management systems, and drive improvement work together with suppliers and internal business units to strengthen quality, sustainability, and delivery capability

Travel occurs in the position, both regionally, nationally, and in some cases internationally.

To succeed in the role, you need:

Requirements:

• academic education in fields such as engineering, quality, procurement, or other education or working life experience that the employer considers equivalent
• experience in driving development or change work, preferably with a focus on suppliers
• experience in qualified quality, audit, and sustainability work as well as business continuity management
• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Meritorious qualifications:

• knowledge of and experience with public procurement according to LOU and/or LUF
• experience working with sustainable supply chains
• experience with or knowledge of management systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001
• experience from public sector operations
