About the role

At Middlepoint, we are currently looking for a service-oriented and flexible service star to join a rescue services authority in Gothenburg. The client is located in beautiful premises in central Gothenburg. As a receptionist, you are an integral part of the service experience for both visitors and the client. To fit the role of receptionist with this client, we believe you are unpretentious, enjoy juggling multiple tasks, are flexible, solution-oriented, and always have a smile on your face. In this position, you will work in a team of two people. While your primary focus will be at the reception, you are also expected to assist with various office-related tasks, such as managing the switchboard.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting employees and customers
  • Assisting and guiding visitors
  • Answering emails and phone calls
  • Administrative work, including access card systems
  • Bookings and orders
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Switchboard duties

Requirements for the position

  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Previous experience in service, preferably in an office environment
  • Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)

About the employment

Employment type: Fixed-term, interim position from September 7, 2026, to November 20, 2026
Degree: 100% full-time
Start date: September 7, 2026
Working hours: Monday - Friday, approx. 08:00-17:00
