What Does the Role Offer?
As a Purchasing Controller, you will become a key business partner to key roles within product and purchasing. Through analysis and follow-up, you will provide decision support that strengthens profitability, optimizes inventory levels, and develops the assortment. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both the product organization and finance.
You will be responsible for, among other things:
- Analyzing sales, margins, inventory, and purchasing
- Developing reports, KPIs, forecasts, and business analyses
- Monitoring assortment, pricing, suppliers, and supplier bonuses
- Managing budgets related to sales, gross margin, and inventory
- Serving as a superuser for Business Central, Power BI, and other business systems
- Driving improvement projects within inventory management, processes, and profitability
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with an academic education in economics, business, or supply chain, or equivalent. You have good experience from a similar controller or analysis role within retail, e-commerce, or other commercial operations. You have excellent knowledge of Excel, experience with ERP systems and Power BI (or similar BI tools), and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. Experience in retail or category management is a plus.
As a person, you are analytical, business-minded, and structured. You thrive working with data, challenging existing methods, and turning analyses into concrete improvements. At the same time, you are communicative and enjoy collaborating with different functions within the organization.
