We are Gothenburg! We are now looking for you who want a strategic key role at Intraservice, a municipal service provider in constant development with many customer-oriented service deliveries and political assignments!

As a Municipal Controller, you play a central role in supporting the municipal management in steering and leading the operations. This is done by coordinating work and developing existing management processes, contributing to business analysis, and proposing business development based on the goal of being a sought-after, efficient, and united service provider.

Intraservice is currently engaged in development work to strengthen, clarify, and develop our management and steering processes based on changes in the external environment and the goal of clearer steering and efficient operations. You will be a key person in the work of integrating planning, follow-up, and analysis based on political goals, assignments, and customers' needs for us as a service provider.

Examples of tasks in this role include planning and coordinating the work with the budget document and business plan, as well as keeping track of and streamlining the follow-up of operations. You will conduct investigations and produce business analyses and strategic decision support materials. As a Municipal Controller, you are our contact person towards the City Audit Office and in selected parts also towards the City Executive Office.

You work in and lead teams with other key roles within the municipality. You participate in municipal and city-wide networks and collaborate with municipal controllers in other departments.

You will lead, support, develop, and review, and therefore need to feel comfortable in these various roles.

You will be part of and partially report to the Director of the Municipality, but will be organizationally placed under the Department Manager for Steering and Support.

About You

• We are looking for you who have a university education in public administration, economics, or another equivalent field.
• For the assignment, longer experience in work with steering and leadership is required.
• It is meritorious if you have experience working for or as a service provider.

As a Municipal Controller, you need to have the ability to analyze complex operations, have a strategic and long-term perspective. You need to have an understanding of public steering and politically driven organizations. Ideally, you can transform data into pedagogical decision support materials. You are secure, communicative, and skilled in change management and development work.

To succeed well in the assignment, you need to be proactive, analytical, structured, and curious. You easily understand how parts and the whole fit together and have a knack for expressing the core of a message in a clear and secure way so that different target groups gain trust and the prerequisites to understand.

You will have tasks of varying character, from city-wide and strategic to operational and routine-based. This makes it easy for you to prioritize and plan, as well as having the ability to solve tasks quickly both independently and together with others.

In this job, you will have many contact surfaces and different collaborations, so you need to be a person who is trustworthy and has a great ability to establish good relationships.
