The Finance Department belongs to the City Management Administration, where the municipality's central support functions are located. The tasks are characterized by leadership, coordination, and development issues with a focus on the municipality's common economic administrative routines and processes.

We also handle the financial administration for the Municipal Board's own operations as well as the city's central financial administration in the form of ongoing reporting, management of economic administrative systems, group reporting, as well as budget and annual accounts. The city uses the economic system Unit4 ERP, the ordering and invoice management system Proceedo, and Hypergene for finance, personnel, and operational follow-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an accountant for the Finance Department, Accounting Unit.

The duties include registry maintenance, system administration, and other economic administrative tasks (bookkeeping, customer and supplier invoices). The unit is a support function, which means that the position also involves service towards the city's operations and residents.

Working efficiently while delivering good quality is important to us. Therefore, we always work on developing existing routines and ways of working, and you will naturally be an active part of this important work together with your colleagues. Part of the improvement work is to find ways to digitize and simplify our processes.

The position will be developed continuously to adapt to technical development and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education with a focus on economics. You have experience and are a proficient user of economic administrative systems. It is an advantage if you have worked in the economic system Unit4 and the ordering and invoice management system Proceedo.

The work requires accuracy, numerical ability, and the ability to be structured. You care that your work is carried out correctly and thoroughly, leaving nothing to chance. You have the ability to focus on details and you check and follow up on your work to ensure it maintains high quality. You can use and understand digital tools, services, and media in an efficient manner.

The tasks are service-oriented and require good cooperation skills as well as a helpful and positive attitude. It is also important that you can thrive with routine tasks, while having the ability to handle periods of higher tempo and recurring problem-solving.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement as the role involves communication with citizens and documentation in Swedish.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, start: As soon as possible according to agreement. Interviews will be held on August 17, 21, 24, and 25.
