We are now looking for a certified teacher for the after-school center (fritidshem) at Pusselbiten in Dalby for a permanent position.
Pusselbiten is a resource school for students in compulsory school and adapted compulsory school with diagnoses within the autism spectrum. The operations cover compulsory school grades 1–6, adapted compulsory school with a focus on subjects in grades 1–6, as well as adapted compulsory school with a focus on subject areas in grades 1–9. We also offer an after-school center and short-term supervision according to the LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).

Your roleAs a teacher for the after-school center, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the center's activities. You contribute to creating a safe, structured, and meaningful daily routine where students are given the opportunity to develop independence, communication, and social skills based on their individual prerequisites.
The after-school center is an important part of the students' continuous learning and development throughout the day. Through activities such as creative work, movement, play, reading, outdoor time, and activities in the local environment, you contribute to the students' learning, social development, and participation.
Breakfast and snacks are part of the pedagogical activities. In these situations, students are given the opportunity to develop communication, social interaction, responsibility, and independence based on their prerequisites.
Communication is a central part of the work. You work to create an accessible learning environment through clear structure, predictability, and adapted communication. When necessary, visual supports, visual schedules, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and other communicative tools are used.
We work with clarifying pedagogy and a low-affective approach. The work takes place in close cooperation with guardians, student health services, and the school's other professions. You are part of a cross-professional team where teachers, special education teachers, special needs pedagogues, speech therapists, counselors, and other staff contribute with different competencies regarding the students' learning and development.

Your experience and knowledgeWe are looking for you who have a teaching certificate with eligibility for work in the after-school center.
You have experience working in after-school centers, schools, or other pedagogical activities and feel confident in planning, implementing, and following up on pedagogical activities.
We would appreciate it if you have experience working with students within the autism spectrum, intellectual disability, or other neuropsychiatric disabilities. Experience working in compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, or resource schools is meritorious.
Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, AAC, and low-affective interaction is meritorious.
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You have the ability to create clarity and continuity in the operations and to adapt your way of working based on the students' needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A B-class driver's license is meritorious.
