About the Workplace

Västervångskolan is Landskrona's largest primary school with approximately 760 students. The school is located in the northwestern part of the city, and we have a large catchment area, which gives us a diverse student body. Responsibilities

Do you want to inspire students to develop their language and communicative skills?

As a language teacher, you will have the opportunity to create teaching that sparks interest and makes students feel safe in using the language. You will become an important person in their development and help them find joy in developing their language skills. Through good relationships and close collaboration with colleagues, you contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment where students have room to grow.

The duties include, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching according to current governing documents.
• Develop students' language abilities through varied working methods and approaches.
• Assess, document, and provide feedback on students' knowledge development.
• Adapt teaching to students' different prerequisites and needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and language-developing learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in work teams and participate in the school's development work.

Requirements for the position:

• Teaching certification with eligibility in German.
• Current knowledge of governing documents, such as the curriculum, course plans, and assessment criteria.
• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
