Svalöv Upper Secondary School and Adult Education, located in shared premises, has approximately 800 students. The upper secondary school offers four national vocational programs: Construction and Civil Engineering, Electricity and Energy, Vehicle and Transport, and Natural Resource Management. There are also four introductory programs and three programs at the adapted upper secondary school. Approximately 110 upper secondary students live in our student housing during the week.

DUTIES
We are looking for an upper secondary school teacher qualified in mathematics. The position involves teaching on our vocational programs, mentoring, and being part of a work team. The role includes planning, teaching, as well as evaluating and developing the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents. You will work together with other staff to ensure students achieve the best possible development, both academically and in terms of values and social skills.

It is important that you base your work on the student's needs, prerequisites, and experiences, as well as strengthening each student's self-confidence and motivation to learn. As an employee in the school sector, you must uphold, convey, and anchor respect for human rights and the fundamental democratic values on which Swedish society is based. You are expected to plan, conduct, document, and evaluate teaching. Together with your work team, you will develop both your own teaching and your joint work.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher and qualified in mathematics. Previous experience working on upper secondary vocational programs is meritorious. You have an open and pleasant attitude, good teamwork skills, and prioritize building good relationships with your students. We value that you are goal-oriented, have strong pedagogical skills, and can inspire and engage students. You are driven, curious, solution-oriented, flexible, and actively work to ensure every student develops as much as possible based on their prerequisites. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Recruitment may take place on an ongoing basis.
