About the role and your responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with the national curriculum. You plan operations in an engaged and goal-oriented manner, while monitoring, assessing, and documenting students' knowledge development.

You have strong collaborative skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build good relationships through your mentorship duties with students, parents, and colleagues, as we work closely with families.

We are looking for you

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Social Studies (SO) and English in grades 4–6. It is meritorious if you also have certification in Swedish. If you have previous experience working as a teacher and/or qualifications to teach grades 4–6, we view this as a bonus. As a teacher, you have the ability to inspire, think innovatively, and contribute to creating a school where all students can participate and succeed based on their prerequisites.

Together with colleagues, you work from an inclusive approach and use varied teaching methods to ensure that all students achieve the lesson's purpose and goals. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them effectively in your daily work.

The role of a teacher requires computer skills and the ability to easily utilize available digital tools. Furthermore, you communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

About the workplace

Killebäckskolan is a school for grades 4–9 in Lund Municipality. We believe in the students' abilities and support them in growing both in knowledge and as individuals. The school has approximately 500 students and 50 employees. We actively work to ensure that every student acquires good knowledge and experiences adapted to their prerequisites and abilities. All students are given the opportunity and encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and development.

Following a comprehensive renovation in 2010, the school received large, functional premises with pleasant natural light. The staff consists of both employees with a long career at Killebäckskolan and employees with extensive experience from other schools. Together with the students, we create a good climate for learning and development.

At the Child and School Administration, we work to create equality and good conditions for all children and students in our preschools, primary schools, and adapted primary schools to reach their goals. Together, we work for a unified and clear management of preschool and school in a modern and efficient organization, with the goal of enabling world-class education.
