Villanskolan is looking for an engaged teacher for grade 4

Villanskolan is centrally located in Ängelholm, and we moved into our beautiful school five years ago. From preschool class to grade 6, there are approximately 670 students, of whom about 30% have a mother tongue other than Swedish. At Villanskolan, you will work alongside dedicated and development-oriented colleagues. We actively work on safety issues and have the students' well-being, development, and learning as our primary focus.

Our development work at the overarching level (preschool class to grade 6) focuses on resilience, and subject-didactically, we deepen our work in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (SvA) and mathematics.

Job Responsibilities

You will work together with your colleagues in grade 4, where the students are divided into four classes. In the work team, you will have joint planning time and a shared responsibility for the students. For the upcoming autumn, we will work in a two-teacher model where teachers of Swedish and teachers of Swedish as a Second Language will plan the teaching and work together. There will be great opportunities to influence this work as we start the process of having two teachers on all Swedish/SvA lessons for the academic year 2026/2027.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a primary teacher education for grades 4–6 and are qualified in Swedish as a Second Language.

We expect you to be engaged and inspiring. That you follow the students' development and challenge each individual student according to their abilities. Your task will be to create the best conditions for every student to succeed in their learning, together with the work team. We expect you to participate in and enrich the school's development work, and that active values-based work is a given for you.

Good cooperation skills and initiative are required. You document, reflect on, and analyze your work independently, but also together with your colleagues. You have the whole student at the center and see the benefit of collaborating with other professional categories to create the best learning environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Terms

• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Start date 2025-08-12 or according to agreement. Interviews and employment will take place continuously during the application period.
